Training for all levels in Acting, Directing, Writing and Producing - for Life!
30 years ago, Morgan Murphy and Lori Gigliotti met doing summer stock in New Hampshire. They were cast opposite one another for several shows, including the first one of the season, Little Shop of Horrors. (left) 5 years later they were married, shifted their focus from their professional careers, and began to dedicate their lives to the importance of arts and character education. In the last 25 years, Morgan and Lori have taught, directed and produced stage and film productions with their students at boarding and day independent schools, colleges and universities, and with their private coachings and workshops. Through the years, in addition to the many shows they have collaborated on, Morgan and Lori have also partnered with one another to develop programs and organizations that have helped thousands through the Arts.
PRESS:
Soon after they were married and living and working in a New Hampshire boarding school, Morgan and Lori started what would be a long tradition during their collective 25 years at this school, and collaborated on dozens of stage productions, some original (The staging of STYX - The Grand Illusion!) and many which involved the local community. (There were 57 community orphans in Oliver! ands 84 community munchkins in Wizard of Oz!) Their students were connected to professional theatre around the state, knowing that working alongside professionals is the best way to train in your craft.
Morgan and Lori began a summer training program in the performing arts - Performance PLUS: Positive Learning Using the Stage/Studio/Screen. In 6 short years, Performance PLUS grew from a dozen students, ages 12-17, to over a hundred participants representing 22 states and 9 countries. Performance PLUS offered 5 focuses: Theatre and Contemporary Performance, Music Production and Recording, Film, Dance, and Technical Production. Each summer several original pieces were produced in all disciplines, with the Film program winning several awards in multiple national and international film festivals.

Morgan and Lori decided early on in their marriage that raising a family was their first and proudest priority. They have two daughters that spent their childhood in and around our stage and film productions happening all around the state of New Hampshire. Ten years ago, they relocated as a family to Fairfield County, Connecticut, and their children continued to be involved in their work throughout their time in school.
